Hola everyone. Well i did it !!! I'm herein
Santiago
500 miles 700 kilometers from when I started 6
weeks
and 1 day ago in St Jean Pied de Port France. It is
a bittersweet feeling and I am spinning a bit. I am
definitely in the city now and it is busy here with
tourists and pilgrims and shopping frenzy. I go
into
that deer in the headlights so I'm going to just
take
it all in and have some cafe con leche decaf at this
point. I'm
in a lovely small pension/hotel near the
cathedral and will meet with some friends tonite
for
dinner and Camino stories. Still not sure of my plans
but all is well and I am grateful and joyful. Thank
to
for all your support. It means so much to me and
words
can't always convey such deep feeling and
emotion.
Love to you all from Camille still in and on the Camino.
Embrace the day and know you are loved.
Let me be the first to say..."congratulación... felicitación!" I am so proud of you! Can't wait to talk with you tomorrow on your weekly call to Mom to tell you congratulations again!!
ReplyDeleteEmbrace the day and know that YOU are loved!!
In ascending order! Congratulations and know we have lived through your words each day and you have inspired us all! Enjoy the Botafumeiro at the Pilgrims Mass. Dominic says you are the ultimate "Awesome Sauce"! We love you!
ReplyDeleteWOW! A bittersweet feeling it is. Enjoy that cafe con leche. Bask in the friendships you've made (and make sure to get their email addresses). Be grateful, be joyful. God is good!

Camille! You have accomplished this amazing dream! Well done - take in everything and breathe. :) Love to you and congratulations on this dream come true. Looking forward to a big hug when you return. You'll have so much to share. xo Rob
ReplyDeleteCiao Camille,
ReplyDeleteOh, what can I poosibly say that hasn't already been said--YOU AWESOME SAUCE!!! I'm aware of feeling happy, proud, and also a bit sad. I really don't want this Blog--and it's inspirations--to end, but that leads me to invite you to just keep it going! Really, a Blog echoing the discoverys, the gifts, the Ah Haas, that will surely follow, is worth sharing and I, for one, want to hear them. Soooo, while your walking will come to an end, your Camino experience can continue. In the meantime--take in the last gifts that the Camino is offering you. I always ask--if I never return, what will I need to remember for the rest of my Life? Choose carefully--open your heart to what is right in front of you so that you can absorb it versus thinking about or photographing it--just be with IT. Call me when you get settled back home so we can plan a weekend together when you can share, in detail, your journey. I can't wait! I embrace you on this journey with great pride and love, you AWESOME SAUCE!!! Hugs, Chris
Congratulations Camille,
ReplyDeleteEvery night I have enjoyed living vicariously through your written words. I hope you enjoy your final days inSpain before you fly home. Can't wait to see you and hear more!
Carol
So, what's new; what have you been doing recently? I heard you took a walk, somewhere. :) Dear soulful Camille, what a personal achievement, so meaningful, life-changing, and, you were so kind to share it with us all so we could vicariously walk with you. I look forward to seeing you. You'll probably need to rent a hall for all who want to see you, your photos, and hear of your journey! Conratulations for such a personal triumph. You are a gift to us all, and to the Universe. Come home, safely. I love you! Ed SSB
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on such an achievement, my dear Camille. You have enriched all of our lives with your journey and will inspire many of us to reach further. I will miss your blog and agree with Chris - and many others, I bet - that you should continue the blog as your mind and heart digest all that you have feasted on in the past weeks. Love to you - cannot wait to see you and the slides...Lu
